With it looking as though staycations are the way forward this year, we have gathered a few of our favourite UK destinations for you to visit. If you are planning to travel as a family, it may be more practical to hire a van for your travels, allowing you to pack everything needed for your break whilst still having enough room to drive safely and comfortably. There are some of our favorite locations, perfect for those getaways for the summer.

1. Cornwall

Are you seeking a place in the UK to escape to that boasts stunning sandy beaches, blue seas and warm Cornish pasties… if so, we have found the perfect location for you. Cornwall! Aside from the seaside towns, you are able to visit the Eden Project to keep the minds of the children inspired as well as the winding, cobbled streets full of traditional British pubs and restaurants for the adults. As a popular location for all the family, we know you just cannot go wrong with a Cornwall getaway.

2. Devon

To escape your home and the reality of the last few months, what better place to go then down to the coasts of Devon. The sandy beaches on offer will allow you to feel as though you are worlds away from the UK, whether you choose to be accompanied with a pint or a famous Devonshire scone. Ideal for hikers, Devon also boats stunning cliffside and countryside walking paths, allowing you to feel the breeze and take in that much needed fresh air.

3. Peak District

After being cooped up indoors for the last few months, we cannot think of any place greater for your summer 2020 staycation than the rolling hills of the Peak District. With numerous stately homes, antique shopping villages, British tearooms and countless areas for homegrown bike rides and dog walks, you will feel as though you are worlds away from your original lockdown base.
